Four LNSU elementary and middle level teacher  began the Mathematics Leadership Support Systems (MLSS) K-8 program on  September 30th.  Participation in the  MLSS program will help mathematics teacher leaders maximize their potential for  supporting instructional improvement by helping to strengthen mathematics  content and pedagogical content knowledge while building core leadership  skills. As we begin implementation of the LNSU long range plan and associated  strategies, coordinated structures and support for teacher leadership will be a  high priority. The MLSS program will provide research based leadership  professional development for an initial cadre of LNSU  teacher leaders.
